We brought along our backpacks, water bottles, field study journals and a sharpie marker.
Room 9 used our eyes, our noses, our ears, and our hands to notice what nature is like during the summer time.
We saw people driving cars and walking, insects, feathers, and summer animals such as bunnies and squirrels. We also noticed houses, the downtown core, neat buildings that look like houses, a church, one fire station.
We smelled grass and fresh air. We noticed that plants have life.
We heard trees blowing,
We felt the warm sun, and some wind.
We took a break at two stops where we sketched and labelled our journey. One stop was at a gym park and the other stop was a cliff where we could see downtown.
Would you like to come on the next field trip with us? What things do you see in your community?
Room 9 & 11 will be sharing their learning every Friday.
